Product Introduction

FRP Skylight Panels are engineered composite materials designed to deliver superior natural daylighting while combining durability, corrosion resistance, and thermal efficiency. Manufacturing Process
  1. Material Preparation: Fiberglass reinforcement (E-glass or S-glass) and thermosetting resins (e.g., polyester, epoxy) are selected for strength and durability.
  2. Mold Preparation: Custom molds are created based on design specifications, treated with release agents to ensure easy demolding.
  3. Layering & Curing: Fiberglass mats or cloths are layered with resin, then cured under controlled temperature and pressure to form a solid composite.
  4. Surface Finishing: UV-resistant gel coats or coatings are applied to enhance durability and aesthetics.
  5. Quality Inspection: Panels undergo rigorous checks for thickness, flatness, and light transmittance to meet industry standards.
 
Usage Precautions
  • Installation: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free of contaminants before installation. Use compatible adhesives or fasteners.
  • Environmental Conditions: Avoid prolonged exposure to temperatures exceeding 130°C or freezing conditions to prevent warping.
  • Maintenance: Clean periodically with mild soap and water; avoid abrasive chemicals or high-pressure water jets.
  • Handling: Use protective gear (gloves, goggles) to prevent fiber irritation during cutting or trimming.
